    Avoid Common Internet Writing Mistakes

Making mistakes is nothing to be ashamed of. It really is how we learn, especially when it comes to writing online.

When I started writing there really wasn’t anyone to turn to. I joined a few forums, but soon found that if I asked questions, well meaning people with more experience and knowledge than myself, responded in ways that were not productive for me. Instead of taking the time to show me they simply told me what to do as though I would instinctively know how to write “tight copy” or select titles. I didn’t. I suppose it was naive of me to think they had the time to mentor me as I found my way.

I made my share of mistakes along the way, in fact, I even wrote about the mistakes commonly made by myself and others who are learning the trade.

Perhaps you aren’t as naive as I was and really don’t need to read about my errors, but I’m here to share them if they will benefit you.

Six Common Internet Writing Mistakes You Can’t Afford to Make is a reflection of the mistakes I’ve made along the way with suggestions for correcting them. My hope is it will prevent you from making the same errors.
